MIAMI, FL (My Sportsbook) - Miami Dolphins wide receiver Oronde Gadsden underwent season-ending surgery on Wednesday to repair ligament damage in his left wrist. Gadsden, in the final year of his contract, was placed on injured reserve after the procedure. He injured the wrist in a 24-22 win over Denver on October 13. Cris Carter has taken Gadsden's place on the Dolphins' roster. Carter, an eight-time Pro Bowl receiver, retired after last season but signed a one-year deal with Miami on Monday. The 31-year-old Gadsden caught 16 passes for 228 yards this season before getting hurt.
