=== Cleveland Indians Team Report - May 28 === (My Sportsbook) - Omar Vizquel snapped an eighth-inning tie by stealing home and Ben Broussard drove home a career-high three runs, as Cleveland defeated Detroit, 5-2, in the middle game of a three-game set at Comerica Park Tuesday. Broussard homered, tripled, and doubled for the Indians. who have won two of their last three games. Dan Miceli (1-0) got the win in his Indians' debut after pitching one scoreless inning and striking out two batters. Danys Baez worked a scoreless ninth for his 10th save of the season. Jason Bere started the game for Cleveland, but left after the first inning with tightness in his right shoulder. Bere, who had been on the disabled list earlier this year with a shoulder injury, was making only his second start of the season. Bere allowed one run on one hit. The last time the Indians had a player steal home was when Vizquel did it on September 20, 2000 against Boston. Taking the hill for the Indians today is Ricardo Rodriguez, who is just 2-5 with a 4.70 ERA In 10 starts this season. In his last outing on Friday, Rodriguez allowed seven runs - five earned - and eight hits in just five innings of a 9-2 setback to the Boston Red Sox. He struck out and walked one in taking his fifth consecutive loss. Rodriguez has not won a game since April 13. Rodriguez is 1-0 with a 2.16 ERA in his career against Detroit. The Indians have taken four-of-six this year against the Tigers.
