Oakland, CA (My Sportsbook) - The Oakland Raiders placed running back LaMont Jordan and wide receiver Jerry Porter on injured reserve on Friday. Jordan suffered a torn left MCL in the Raiders' 17-13 loss to Kansas City on November 19. The six-year veteran finished his disappointing season with just 434 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Jordan signed with Oakland before the 2005 season and enjoyed the best year of his career, rushing for 1,025 yards and nine touchdowns while catching 70 passes for 563 yards and two scores. Porter, meanwhile, suffered through an even worse season than Jordan. The disgruntled wideout didn't report to training camp in hopes of a trade, was suspended for conduct detrimental to the team and was active for only four games. Porter suffered a hip injury in the same game against Kansas City. Porter, the team's leading receiver in 2005 with 76 catches for 942 yards and five touchdowns, caught just one ball for 19 yards. To take their spots, Oakland signed safety Hiram Eugene and tight end Derek Miller to the active roster.
