Baltimore, MD (My Sportsbook) - The Baltimore Orioles activated outfielder B.J. Surhoff from the 15-day disabled list prior to their 6-2 victory over Anaheim on Wednesday.

Surhoff, who was out of action with a strained right hamstring, is batting .277 with one home run and 15 RBI in 23 games this season.

To make room on the roster, the Orioles optioned outfielder Jack Cust to Triple-A Ottawa.

Surhoff has been placed on the disabled list four times in his career. He did not play in Wednesday night's game.
