=== Anaheim Angels Team Report - May 29 === (My Sportsbook) - The defending World Champion Anaheim Angels' woes continued on Wednesday, as they fell to the Baltimore Orioles, 6-2, in the finale of a two-game series at Camden Yards. Jeff DaVanon had two hits for the Angels, who were swept in the series and lost for the fifth time in seven games. Ortiz (4-5), the Angel starter, absorbed the loss. In 5 2/3 innings he was charged with six runs -- two earned -- on nine hits. Ortiz dropped to 0-3 in his last five starts overall and 3-3 in eight career starts against the Orioles. Anaheim's Garret Anderson moved within six hits of 1,500 for career, going 1- for-3 with a double in the loss. The Angels will send Jarrod Washburn to the mound today, as he makes his 11th start of the season. The Angels lefthander allowed three earned runs on 11 hits in his most recent outing of the year, as he suffered his fifth loss of the year. Washburn (4-5) has posted a record of 5-1 and an ERA of 3.38 in his career appearances against the Devil Rays. In those outings, he has walked 17 batters and struck out 42 of them in 53 1/3 innings of action.
