=== Los Angeles Dodgers Team Report - May 29 === (My Sportsbook) - The Los Angeles Dodgers will try to avoid the series sweep to the Colorado Rockies today at Coors Field in the finale of a three-game set. The Dodgers, who fell 6-0 last night, have not lost three straight games since losing four in a row from April 10-15. Last night, Paul Lo Duca had two of his team's four hits as the Dodgers lost for the second straight night after having their 10-game winning streak halted in the series' opener. Darren Dreifort (4-4) was saddled with the loss after yielding six runs on nine hits in just three innings of work. He struck out two and walked four in the setback. The Dodgers will send Odalis Perez to the mound this afternoon at Coors Field. The 25-year-old lefthander was victorious in his last outing, defeating the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park. In that contest, the Dominican tossed six innings, allowing four runs on nine hits. Perez has not been defeated since May 6th when the lefthander lost to the Mets at Shea Stadium. In that game, Perez allowed three runs on nine hits in six innings. Perez is 3-1 against the Rockies in six career starts and has an ERA of 2.20 in those contests. The Dodgers lead the National League in ERA (2.80) and earned runs allowed (146) and are second in the league to the Cubs in strikeouts (434).
