Atlanta, GA (My Sportsbook) - Atlanta Hawks center Nazr Mohammed will be sidelined for at least a week because of a bruised bone in his right foot. Mohammed underwent an MRI on Wednesday and his status for Atlanta's season- opener against New Jersey on October 30 is in doubt. The Hawks will re- evaluate his condition in a week. The 6-foot-10 Mohammed started 73 of the 82 games he played in last season and averaged career-highs in points (9.7) and rebounds (7.9). |
