He allowed eight hits, three walks and struck out a batter. The Mets will send Steve Trachsel to the mound this evening in the rubber match against the Phillies. Trachsel has been victorious in his last three outings. In his most recent victory, the 32-year-old righthander defeated the Braves at Turner Field. In that contest, Trachsel allowed four runs on six hits in 5 2/3 innings. Trachsel's last loss came on May 7th to the Los Angeles Dodgers.
