=== Los Angeles Dodgers Team Report - May 30 === (My Sportsbook) - The Los Angeles Dodgers could not avoid the sweep at the hands of the Colorado Rockies, as they lost of 12-5 in the finale of a three- game set yesterday at Coors Field. The Dodgers have lost three straight after winning 10 in a row. The Dodgers will begin a nine-game homestand tonight when they take on the Milwaukee Brewers for a three-game set. The Dodgers completed a three-game sweep of the Brewers last weekend at Miller Park. Yesterday, Fred McGriff and Cesar Izturis both notched three hits for the Dodgers. Alex Cora, Shawn Green and Adrian Beltre each added two hits for Los Angeles. Dodgers starter Odalis Perez, who recorded the loss was smacked around, allowing nine runs on 11 hits in just three innings of work. Hideo Nomo will try and get the Dodgers back on the winning track tonight. He is 6-4 on the year with a 2.70 ERA. Nomo tossed a two-hit shutout in his last start last Saturday against the Brewers. The 34-year-old righthander also struck out eight and walked four for his second straight win. Nomo has now won five of his last six decisions. Nomo, who pitched for Milwaukee in 1999, has had some success against his former team, going 5-1 with a 1.73 ERA in seven starts. The Dodgers lead the National League in ERA (2.98) and earned runs allowed (158) and are second in the league to the Cubs in strikeouts (444).
