=== Florida Marlins Team Report - May 30 === (My Sportsbook) - The Florida Marlins saw their six-game winning streak snapped last night in a 3-2 defeat to the Montreal Expos in the finale of a four-game set at Pro Player Stadium. The Marlins will continue their 13-game homestand tonight when they take on the Cincinnati Reds in a three-game series. Last night, Armando Almanza (3-3) took the loss after he permitted three runs on three hits in just one-third of an inning. Brad Penny threw six scoreless innings and homered for the Marlins. Penny allowed just six hits, while walking two and striking out one. Todd Hollandsworth also drove in a run for Florida, which was trying to sweep a four-game set at Pro Player Stadium for the first-time ever against Montreal. The Marlins will send Mark Redman to the mound for the first time since returning from the 15-day disabled list. Redman will make his seventh start of the season. The lefthander had been on the DL, retroactive to April 30 with a fractured left thumb. He is 2-0 over his last three starts. Redman will face the Reds for the second time in his career. His only other appearance versus Cincinnati came on June 4, 2000 as a member of the Minnesota Twins. In that game, Redman didn't get a decision, as he allowed two runs over six innings. Luis Castillo has a seven-game hitting streak. The Marlins lead the National League with 72 stolen bases and 20 triples.
