=== Anaheim Angels Team Report - May 30 === (My Sportsbook) - The Anaheim Angels snapped a two-game losing streak with a 2-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Devil Rays on Thursday in the opener of a four- game set at Tropicana Field. The Angels are 1-2 in the early stages of their 12-game road trip. Anaheim is 12-12 this month compared to last May when it went 19-7. Last night, Jarrod Washburn tossed 6 2/3 scoreless innings for the win and Jeff DaVanon went 3-for-4 for the Angels. Washburn (5-5) allowed just four hits, walked three and struck out three. He improved to 6-1 lifetime versus the Devil Rays. Brendan Donnelly recorded the final five outs for his first save. The Angels will turn to righthander John Lackey, who has won two of his last three starts to improve to 3-4 on the year. In his last outing, Lackey earned the win on Saturday against these D-Rays. He allowed only two runs on four hits in seven innings, while walking none and striking out four. Lackey is undefeated against Tampa Bay in his career, going 2-0 with a 2.70 ERA in three starts. Tim Salmon is just 1-for-21 with six strike outs in his last seven games.
