The loss was the third straight against the Angels this season. Tampa Bay is 10-15 this May and has recorded 10-plus wins for the first time in the month of May since recording 11 in 1999. Last night, Toby Hall went 2-for-4 for Tampa Bay, which has dropped seven of its last nine overall games. Victor Zambrano (1-3) took the loss in his first start since April 23. He yielded two runs on six hits in 5 2/3 innings, with two walks and six strikeouts. Zambrano had been working out of the bullpen since returning from the minors last week. Dewon Brazelton looks to capture his first career victory on Friday when he takes the mound at Tropicana Field. The 22-year-old Brazelton is 0-4 in five starts this season and is 0-5 for his career. The righthander dropped his fourth straight start in his last outing, suffering the setback against these same Angels on Sunday. He surrendered five runs -- three earned -- on five hits in five innings, while walking two and striking out seven. The contest was Brazelton's first career appearance against Anaheim. The Devil Rays are second to last in the American League in ERA (5.28) and earned runs allowed (272).
