Minneapolis, MN (My Sportsbook) - The Seattle Mariners have placed utilityman John Mabry on the 15-day disabled list because of a right shoulder injury. The move is retroactive to May 28. Mabry was hurt while diving for a ball on Tuesday against Kansas City. He is batting just .182 with two homers and seven runs batted in this season. The Mariners signed Mabry this past winter after he spent the 2002 campaign with Philadelphia and Oakland. He batted .276 with 11 homers and 43 RBI in 110 games last year. Seattle has not yet made a move to fill the roster spot, but is expected to recall veteran catcher Pat Borders from Triple-A Tacoma on Saturday.
