Baltimore, MD (My Sportsbook) - The Baltimore Ravens promoted quarterbacks coach Rick Neuheisel to offensive coordinator on Monday. Neuheisel will run all offensive meetings and continue to guide Baltimore quarterbacks -- similar to what he did last season -- while head coach Brian Billick will still call the plays. Billick took over play-calling duties last year when the Ravens fired then- offensive coordinator Jim Fassel after six games. Baltimore went on to win nine of the next 10 games after the switch and saw their offensive numbers increase, including an upward swing in scoring from 18.3 to 24.3 points per game. The Ravens failed to find their offense in the postseason, though, after a 13-3 regular season, losing to the Colts 15-6 this past weekend in an AFC divisional playoff game. The club managed just two field goals in the loss. Neuheisel has 15 years of coaching experience, including the past two seasons in Baltimore. He was the head coach at Washington and Colorado in the collegiate ranks.
