=== Arizona Diamondbacks Team Report - June 2 === (My Sportsbook) - The Arizona Diamondbacks will conclude their four-game series with the San Diego Padres tonight at Qualcomm Stadium. Arizona has won two contests so far in the set, including yesterday's 10-4 triumph. Luis Gonzalez slammed a two-run homer and finished with three hits and four RBI to lead Arizona to the win at Qualcomm Stadium. Danny Bautista added three hits, three runs scored and an RBI for the Diamondbacks. Edgar Gonzalez picked up the win in his major league debut after allowing three runs in 5 2/3 innings. The righthander yielded 10 hits and three walks, while striking out four. Shea Hillenbrand made his Arizona debut and went 0-for-3 with two walks. John Patterson goes to the mound for Arizona tonight, as he makes his third big league start this year and eighth of his career. The righthander has allowed 12 hits and 11 runs in his two outings this season. He dropped a 10-2 decision to the Giants on Wednesday, tossing six frames. It's been an unfortunate turnaround for Patterson, who was 2-0 with a 3.23 ERA in seven games (5 starts) for Arizona last year. His major league debut came at Qualcomm Stadium on July 20 and five days later he notched his first big league win by blanking the Padres for 7 1/3 innings at Bank One Ballpark. Arizona took three of four from the Padres last weekend and has won 13 of the last 16 meetings. The clubs will not meet again until July 9-10 in Phoenix. Arizona is 12-14 on the road. The Diamondbacks start their 2003 interleague schedule tomorrow night by hosting the Chicago White Sox in a three-game set.
