CENTENNIAL, Colo. (AP) -Former Denver Broncos defensive back Tyrone Braxton pleaded guilty to cocaine and marijuana possession Wednesday but avoided jail time. An Arapahoe County district judge ordered Braxton to complete a drug-alcohol evaluation and any recommended treatment. He was also ordered to perform 48 hours of public service and faces a fine. District attorney's spokeswoman Kathleen Walsh said the amount of the fine wasn't immediately available. Prosecutors dropped a charge of patronizing a prostitute. Braxton was arrested Dec. 2. He told The Associated Press he had been taking drugs with two males and a female at a home in suburban Aurora. He denied any knowledge of prostitution. The 41-year-old went to the Pro Bowl in 1996 and was part of the Broncos' back-to-back Super Bowl champion teams. He is married with two children and has been working as a real estate agent.
