=== Houston Astros Team Report - June 11 === (My Sportsbook) - After having their season-best seven-game winning streak stopped on Tuesday, the Houston Astros hope to get back on the winning track this evening when they continue their three-game interleague set against the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium. Houston suffered its first loss against the AL in seven chances last night with a 5-3 loss in the series opener in the Bronx. Craig Biggio and Morgan Ensberg homered for the Astros, who fell for just the second time in their last 11 games. Houston is now tied atop the NL Central with the Chicago Cubs. Wade Miller (4-7) had a personal two-game winning streak stopped. He had allowed just four runs and six hits in 16 innings of his previous two starts, but on Tuesday was roughed up for five runs on seven hits and four walks in seven-plus innings. Lance Berkman finished 1-for-3 in the loss to extend his hitting streak to 16- games. In that span he is batting .377 (23-for-61) with five homers and 15 RBI. His career best is 21 in 2001. Houston will pin its hopes tonight on righthander Roy Oswalt, who is 4-4 on the year with a 3.10 ERA. The 25-year-old hurler, though, is 2-0 over his last three starts, striking out a combined 25 batters, while walking just two. Oswalt is coming off one of his best starts of the year in his last outing, as he allowed one run on eight hits in seven innings in a win over the Baltimore Orioles on Thursday. He also fanned 11 in that game without issuing a walk. Oswalt has never faced the Yankees. First baseman Jeff Bagwell has gone a career-high 125 at-bats without hitting a home run since belting his 11th of the season back on May 5. Houston, which is 31-1 this season when leading after eight innings, is 14-16 away from home on the year.
