=== Chicago White Sox Team Report - June 11 === (My Sportsbook) - Mark Buehrle tries to win for the first time in two months, as the Chicago White Sox play the middle contest of their series against the San Francisco Giants tonight at U.S. Cellular Field. Buehrle is 0-8 over his last 11 starts and hasn't won since April 10 against Cleveland. The lefthander's eight straight losing decisions are the most for a White Sox pitcher since Jim Parque lost nine in a row in 1999. In Buehrle's most recent outing, Friday against the Dodgers, he allowed four hits and two runs over six innings, but tied a season-high with six strikeouts. The White Sox won their third straight game last night with a 5-3 victory over the Giants. Miguel Olivo and D'Angelo Jimenez hit back-to-back homers to break a seventh-inning tie, leading the White Sox to the triumph. The franchises met for the first time since the 1917 World Series, the last time the White Sox captured a world championship. Carlos Lee added a pair of hits and an RBI for Chicago, which opened a 10-game homestand. Chicago's Frank Thomas has a 12-game hitting streak and is batting .432 (19- for-44) in that time. Tonight he will pass Ray Schalk for third in franchise history with 1,758 games played. White Sox first baseman Paul Konerko is in a 1-for-34 slump over his last 14 games. The White Sox are 0-30 this season when behind after eight innings.
