=== Texas Rangers Team Report - June 13 === (My Sportsbook) - The Texas Rangers lost for the 11th time in 12 games on Thursday as they suffered an 11-0 loss to the New York Mets in the finale of a three-game interleague series at the Ballpark. Michael Young, Kevin Mench, Hank Blalock, Diaz and Rafael Palmeiro each had two hits for the Rangers, who left 14 runners on base. The Rangers fell to 1-8 in interleague play this season. Florida catcher Ivan Rodriguez makes his return to Texas tonight, as the Rangers host the Marlins for three games. Rodriguez spent the first 12 years of his career in Texas. There will be a special pregame ceremony for Rodriguez. Rangers president Mike Cramer is expected to present Pudge with a special gift from the fans. Juan Gonzalez and Palmeiro, two of Rodriguez' former teammates, will also make a special presentation. Lefthanded pitcher Tony Mounce will make his major league debut by starting tonight's game for the Rangers. He went 7-3 with a 2.55 ERA in 12 games, including 10 starts, at the minor league level this year. However, Mounce went 0-2 with a 5.31 ERA in three starts with Oklahoma following his promotion from the Double-A level. Mounce missed all of the 2001 season after having Tommy John surgery and pitched for four different Texas affiliates in 2002. This will mark the first ever regular season meeting between the teams. However, Rangers manager Buck Showalter has seen the Marlins 26 times over his career and has a 14-12 mark versus Florida. All of those games came when Showalter was the manager of the Arizona Diamondbacks.
