=== Baltimore Orioles Team Report - June 14 === (My Sportsbook) - Jay Gibbons hit a grand slam and added a two-run homer en route to a career-high six RBI to lead Baltimore over Milwaukee, 7-2, in the first of a three-game interleague set at Camden Yards last night. Jeff Conine scored two runs for the Orioles, who won for just the third time in 10 games. Sidney Ponson (9-3) won for the eighth time in his last nine starts after allowing just one run on six hits in six innings. The righthander also yielded two walks, while striking out four. Taking the hill for Baltimore tonight will be Jason Johnson, who is a solid 5-2 with a 3.88 ERA in 12 starts this season. In his last appearance on Sunday, Johnson yielded three earned runs on eight hits over just three innings of an 11-10 setback to the St. Louis Cardinals. He struck out three in earning a no-decision. Johnson has never faced the Brewers before. Ponson has gone at least six innings in his last 12 starts and has only allowed two homers in his last 66 2/3 innings. Melvin Mora saw his hit streak end at 23 games on Friday. Milwaukee and Baltimore met for the first time since 1997 on Friday, when the Brewers still resided in the American League.
