=== Cincinnati Reds Team Report - June 15 === (My Sportsbook) - Two blowouts and a brawl have dominated play this weekend between the Philadelphia Phillies and Cincinnati Reds. The three-game set comes to a conclusion today with the rubber match at Great American Ball Park. On Friday night, the Reds pounded out 22 hits and creamed the Phillies, 15-1, with that result overshadowed by a bench-clearing brawl in the sixth inning. The Phillies got revenge last night with a 12-2 rout. Adam Dunn, just one day after being involved in the fracas, belted his NL- leading 22nd homer for the Reds, who had a four-game winning streak snapped. Cincinnati has lost 11 of its last 13 at home against the Phillies. In fact, the Reds haven't won a home series against Philadelphia since August 13-15, 1999. Paul Wilson will get the ball today for the Reds, as he tries to win his third straight start. The righthander is coming off a strong outing Tuesday against Tampa Bay when he yielded eight hits and two runs over 5 2/3 innings. He also struck out seven while walking only three to remain unbeaten in three straight starts. Wilson has started three career games versus the Phillies and holds a 1-0 mark against them with a 3.50 ERA. This will mark his second start of the season against Philly. He had a no-decision in the 7-6 victory on April 11. Wilson threw six innings in that game and left with a 4-1 lead, but was the victim of John Riedling's blown save when the Phillies scored four unearned runs in the eighth inning to tie the game. The Reds won the game on Austin Kearns' second homer of the night, a two-run shot in the bottom of the ninth off Mesa. Reds batters lead the major leagues with 567 strikeouts.
