=== Colorado Rockies Team Report - June 15 === (My Sportsbook) - The Colorado Rockies will try to avoid losing two straight to the beleaguered Detroit Tigers today in the finale on a three-game set at Comerica Park. The Rockies, who have lost three of their last four, will send Jason Jennings to the hill today. In his last outing on Tuesday, Jennings was spectacular against the Twins at the Metrodome. In that contest, the righthander allowed no runs, scattering three hits while striking out seven. The 24-year-old has won two straight outings, since losing to the Giants at Pac Bell Park on May 31st. This will be the first appearance for Jennings against the Tigers. Yesterday, Greg Vaughn, Jose Hernandez and Charles Johnson each homered for the Rockies. Vaughn and Larry Walker both posted two hits. Scott Elarton (3-2), who had won three straight starts, absorbed the loss. He was charged with six runs on eight hits in five-plus innings. Todd Helton who is 5-for-13 in his last four games is two home runs shy of 200 for his career. The Rockies are only 9-25 away from Coors Field this season.
