=== Montreal Expos Team Report - June 15 === (My Sportsbook) - The Montreal Expos try to avoid getting swept today as they play the Oakland Athletics in the finale of a three-game set at the Coliseum. The Expos lost 5-4 yesterday. Montreal, which has lost three straight after a season-high six-game winning streak, will send righthander Javier Vazquez to the mound today. Vazquez, who ranks third in the majors with 104 strikeouts, will face the A's for the first time in his career. Vazquez is 3-1 over his last seven outings and is coming off a victory on Tuesday at Seattle when he allowed eight hits and three runs over six innings. He is 3-5 with a 4.90 ERA in 13 career interleague starts. A win today would be Vazquez' 58th in an Expos uniform, which would tie him with Jeff Fassero for sixth on the franchise's all-time list. Montreal is 8-10 thus far on a 22-game, six-city trip away from Olympic Stadium and won't return to the Big O until June 20 to play the Toronto Blue Jays. The Expos have fallen seven games behind the first-place Atlanta Braves in the NL East.
