=== Oakland Athletics Team Report - June 15 === (My Sportsbook) - The Oakland Athletics will try for the series sweep today as they play the Montreal Expos in the finale of a three-game set at the Coliseum. The A's, who squeaked out a 5-4 win yesterday, are still seven games behind the front-running Seattle Mariners in the AL West. Tim Hudson will take the hill this afternoon for Oakland, which has responded well to him on the mound. The Athletics are 11-3 in his starts this season, but the righthander is a personal 0-1 over his last four outings and hasn't won since May 20 against Minnesota. Hudson, who is 8-1 in 17 career interleague starts, is 3-0 in nine home starts this season. He is 8-0 over his last 16 regular season home appearances and hasn't lost at the Coliseum during the regular season since last July 17th against Anaheim. This will be his first career appearance against the Expos. Scott Hatteberg hit a three-run homer in the eighth inning to propel Oakland to yesterday's win. Hatteberg finished 2-for-4, while Eric Byrnes also collected a pair of hits and homered for the Athletics. Byrnes has a nine-game hitting streak. Oakland is 3-2 on a current 12-game homestand.
