Davie, FL (My Sportsbook) - The Miami Dolphins continued their busy offseason Monday, by releasing tight end Randy McMichael and quarterback Joey Harrington. In addition, the Dolphins also signed free agent tight end David Martin to a three-year contract. "David is a talented tight end who will be a major contributor to our offense," said Miami head coach Cam Cameron. "He is very athletic with good speed and is a quality receiver, having played wideout in college. We feel as though he will be a valuable addition to our team." The 27-year-old Martin has caught 87 passes for 766 yards and nine touchdowns in 70 regular season games with the Green Bay Packers. Harrington threw for 2,236 yards with 12 touchdowns and 15 interceptions in 11 games last year in his first season with the Dolphins. McMichael hauled in 62 passes last year for 640 yards and three touchdowns in his fifth season with Miami. The Dolphins also shipped wide receiver Wes Welker to the New England Patriots in exchange for an undisclosed draft pick on Monday.
