Seattle, WA (My Sportsbook) - The Seattle Mariners have recalled pitcher Rafael Soriano from Triple-A Tacoma. Soriano will join the big league club for the second time this season. He was with the Mariners in late April and early May, posting no record with a 2.25 earned run average in three relief appearances. The righthander was sent back to Tacoma on May 8 and was 4-3 with a 3.19 ERA with the Triple-A club. The Mariners opened a roster spot by sending catcher Pat Borders to Tacoma. Borders had appeared in just three games with Seattle and had one hit in two at-bats. The veteran was hitting a team-high .342 in 39 games with Tacoma.
