Los Angeles, CA (My Sportsbook) - The Los Angeles Dodgers activated Daryle Ward off the 15-day disabled list Tuesday and started him at first base against the Giants. Ward, who was sidelined for two weeks with tendinitis in his hand and elbow, finished 2-for-3 at the plate with a run scored in the Dodgers' 4-1 victory. He completed a four-game rehab assignment with Double-A Jacksonville before being activated. The 27-year-old Ward is batting just .189 with no extra-base hits and five RBI in 34 games this season. He started at first base in place of Fred McGriff, who sat out with a tight groin muscle.
