Toronto, Ontario (My Sportsbook) - The Toronto Blue Jays locked up their first-round draft pick Aaron Hill Wednesday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Hill, an infielder, played at LSU this past season and batted .358 with 67 RBI and nine homers. He was voted the SEC Position Player of the Year as well as a second team All-American. The 6'0", 196-pounder, the 13th overall pick in the recent First Year Player Draft, is expected to become a member of the Auburn Doubledays, Toronto's Single-A affiliate in the New York-Penn League. |
