New York, NY (My Sportsbook) - Denver Nuggets forward Juwan Howard was suspended for two games and fined $15,000 by the NBA Friday for throwing punches during his team's preseason game against Indiana. Howard, who will miss the first two games of the 2002-03 season, swung at the Pacers' Al Harrington and Jermaine O'Neal in Denver's 96-89 loss Wednesday. With less than five minutes remaining in the game, Howard was upset with Harrington and threw a punch, at which point O'Neal went after Howard. O'Neal and Howard began pushing each other before Howard started to throw punches. Both Howard and O'Neal were ejected from the contest.
