Davie, FL (My Sportsbook) - Former Major League Baseball slugger Jose Canseco was arrested Friday for a probation violation. The 38-year-old Canseco, who already is under house arrest for his involvement in a nightclub brawl two years ago, allegedly tested positive for steroids, a violation of the terms of his probation. Canseco was also given three years of probation to go along with two years' house arrest for the nightclub brawl. Canseco was also arrested in March for violating his probation by failing to begin his community service and anger management classes. A former member of the Oakland Athletics, Texas Rangers, Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, Toronto Blue Jays, Tampa Bay Devil Rays and Chicago White Sox, Canseco was booked at the Davie substation and then transferred to the main Broward County Jail, where he is being held without bond pending a court appearance. In his 17 years in the majors, Canseco hit 462 homers and knocked in 1,407 runs in 1,887 games.
