Vancouver, British Columbia (My Sportsbook) - The Dallas Stars have recalled defenseman Sami Helenius from the Utah Grizzlies of the American Hockey League. Helenius was on a conditioning assignment. Helenius, 28, was a healthy scratch for the Stars' first seven games this season before being sent to Utah. The 6-6, 230-pounder has appeared in 96 games with the Stars over the past two seasons, registering one goal and two assists. In 140 career NHL contests, Helenius has posted two goals and three assists for five points with 226 penalty minutes. He has also played for Calgary, Tampa Bay and Colorado. |
