Eindhoven, Holland (My Sportsbook) - Jefferson Farfan scored two goals in two minutes to hand PSV a 2-0 win over fourth-placed Twente at Philipsstadion on Saturday, allowing the Eindhoven club to reclaim the top spot in the Eredivisie. Just 24 hours after Ajax downed NAC 2-0 to move one point clear of PSV, the two-time defending champs went right back on top thanks to Farfan, who scored goals in the 19th and 20th minutes to give PSV the win. Farfan got things off to a good start when he drove a shot from 15-yards out into the bottom corner of the net to give PSV the 1-0 lead. Just one minute later, Farfan found his way onto the score sheet again, this time getting on the other end of a cross by Edison Mendez from the right flank and converting from 10-yards out to stun the visitors. Kennedy Bakircioglu's shot from just inside the area three minutes later went just inches wide, but it was one of the few chances that the visiting team was able to generate. PSV was in control of the match throughout the second half, and Farfan nearly completed a hat-trick as he headed a cross just over the cross bar. The result eliminates Twente from any title hopes, and they will have to be content to battle for a spot in Europe next season. In other action in Holland on Saturday, Roda blanked Den Haag 2-0 and Tim Janssen scored three second-half goals to give RKC Waalwijk a 3-0 win over Excelsior. On Sunday, AZ Alkmaar tries to stay within two points at the top with a win against Vitesse, Groningen entertains NEC, relegation-battling Heracles hosts Feyenoord and Heerenveen invades Willem II.
