(My Sportsbook) - Adam Kennedy posted three hits and Garret Anderson hit a two-run homer to lead Anaheim to a 6-3 win over Los Angeles in the finale of a three-game interleague series at Dodger Stadium Sunday.

Anderson extended his personal best for home runs in a month with his 11th in June. He is batting .313 (26-for-83) with 24 RBI this month.

Kevin Appier allowed one run in five innings to earn the victory for the Angels, who had lost the first two of the Freeway Series and won for only the second time in their last eight games. Appier (5-4) permitted seven hits to post his first win in four starts.

Troy Percival worked a perfect ninth for his 12th save.

The Angels were able to solve Los Angeles starter Kevin Brown, who had won his last seven starts and was undefeated in his previous 11 outings (9-0).

Aaron Sele will take the hill on Tuesday, as Anaheim opens an important three- game series with the AL West-leading Seattle Mariners at Edison Field. The Angels currently trail the Mariners by 12 1/2 games in the division and can't afford to sink any further.

Sele has dropped his last two starts to fall to just 3-5 on the year.

The righthander faced these same Mariners in his last trip to the mound and suffered the loss Wednesday. However, he allowed only one run on four hits in five frames, while walking four and striking out five.

For his career, Sele is 3-5 against his former team with 5.45 ERA in 12 starts.
