Cincinnati, OH (My Sportsbook) - The Cincinnati Bengals have signed unrestricted free agent defensive tackle Michael Myers to a two-year contract and re-signed restricted free agent linebacker Landon Johnson to a one-year deal. Myers started every game for the Denver Broncos last season, leading the team's defensive line with 80 tackles. He also recorded a pair of sacks, recovered a pair of fumbles and forced a fumble. A fourth-round pick of the Dallas Cowboys in the 1998 NFL Draft, Myers has appeared in 123 games with 64 starts and has totaled 398 tackles with 14 1/2 sacks and seven fumble recoveries. The Alabama product started 33 of the 34 games he played for Denver over the past two seasons, including two playoff contests. He also played for Cleveland after being released by the Cowboys during the 2003 campaign and was dealt to Denver before the 2005 season as part of the trade that sent Reuben Droughns to the Browns. Johnson, meanwhile, will enter his fourth NFL season and last year led the Bengals with 132 tackles. He also led the club in tackles as a rookie and finished third in 2005. The Purdue product also led the team last year with three forced fumbles.
