=== Baltimore Orioles Team Report - June 24 === (My Sportsbook) - The Baltimore Orioles lost for the fifth time in six games on Monday, as they dropped the opener of their four-game series with the Toronto Blue Jays, 13-4, at SkyDome. Tony Batista homered and drove in three runs, while Luis Matos hit a solo homer for the Orioles, who have dropped five of their last six outings. Omar Daal (4-9) was the loser after he was hammered in his worst outing of the year. The lefthander, who has lost his last four starts, permitted nine runs -- eight earned -- on 10 hits in just 2 1/3 innings of work. Taking the mound for the O's on Tuesday is Rick Helling, who has just one loss in his last six outings (2-1). However, Helling suffered that defeat in his last outing versus the Jays Thursday. The righthander permitted five runs -- four earned -- on six hits in five innings, while walking two and striking out three. For his career, Helling is 5-3 with a 3.43 ERA in 12 starts against Toronto. Melvin Mora, who leads the AL with a .361 average, has not played since getting hit in the right hand by a Greg Maddux pitch on Friday. He is listed as day-to-day.
