=== Anaheim Angels Team Report - June 25 === (My Sportsbook) - Ramon Ortiz looks to win his fifth straight start on Wednesday as the Anaheim Angels square off with the Seattle Mariners in the middle contest of a three-game set at Edison Field. Ortiz has won his last four starts after dropping his previous three decisions to improve to 8-5 on the year. In his last outing, Ortiz pitched a gem against these same Mariners on Thursday. He held Seattle scoreless in 7 2/3 frames, while allowing six hits and one walk. He also struck out six. The righthander is 1-2 in three starts against the Mariners this season with a 4.19 ERA. For his career, Ortiz is 4-6 with a 3.42 ERA in 11 starts versus Seattle. On Tuesday in the series opener, Bret Boone hit a two-run homer and Freddy Garcia won his sixth straight start, as the Mariners held on for a 6-4 victory over the Angels. Bengie Molina finished 3-for-4 with a homer, three runs scored and two runs batted in for the Angels, who have lost three of their last four. Anaheim, which dropped three of four last week in Seattle, has won just two of its last nine games. Aaron Sele (3-6), on the losing end of last week's 2-0 decision against Garcia and the Mariners, has lost three straight starts. He was roughed up for six runs on eight hits in five innings. Tim Salmon is one hit shy of 1,500 for his career.
