=== Baltimore Orioles Team Report - June 25 === (My Sportsbook) - Sidney Ponson looks to reach the 10-win plateau for the first time since 1999 on Wednesday when the Baltimore Orioles take on the Toronto Blue Jays in the third of a four-game series at SkyDome. Ponson's only previous double-digit win season came four years ago when he finished 12-12 for Baltimore. The righthander is 9-4 this season, but had a five-game winning streak snapped in his last outing. Ponson suffered the loss against Atlanta Friday, permitting five runs on five hits in five innings, with five walks and no strikeouts. It marked his first defeat since May 15. For his career, Ponson is 3-6 with a 4.57 ERA in 10 starts against the Blue Jays. On Tuesday, Jeff Conine and Tony Batista each belted two-run homers as the Orioles downed the Blue Jays, 6-4, in the second of their four-game series. Jay Gibbons drove in two runs with a double for the Orioles, who won for just the second time in seven games. Baltimore also halted an eight-game losing streak against the Blue Jays and picked up its second win in 14 games versus Toronto. Rick Helling (5-5) picked up the win after allowing three runs on six hits in 5 2/3 innings. The Orioles starter walked five batters and struck out three in the victory. Melvin Mora, who leads the AL with a .361 average, is expected to be back in the lineup Wednesday after missing four games with a sore right hand.
