Houston, AZ (My Sportsbook) - Houston Astros infielder Jose Vizcaino was placed on the 15-day disabled list on Wednesday after breaking his left wrist in the seventh inning of Tuesday's loss to Arizona. Vizcaino, who was injured after being hit by a pitch from Diamondbacks reliever Stephen Randolph, will likely miss four-to-six weeks with the injury. He was replaced on the roster by infielder Eric Bruntlett, who was recalled from Triple-A New Orleans. A usually steady utility player, Vizcaino is batting just .245 with two homers and 19 RBI in 61 games this season. His injury comes at a bad time for the Astros, who are without the services of everyday second baseman Jeff Kent. The 35-year-old Kent has missed the last six games with tendinitis in his left wrist.
