Toronto, Ontario (My Sportsbook) - Toronto Blue Jays third baseman Eric Hinske has finished his rehab assignment in Triple-A Syracuse and was activated from the 15-day disabled list Thursday. Hinske, who underwent surgery after fracturing his right hand on May 24th, will be available for Toronto's game with Baltimore on Thursday night. Infielder Howie Clark, who was recalled to fill Hinske's spot on the roster, was optioned to make room for the reigning AL Rookie of the Year. In 2002, Hinske batted .279 and established franchise rookie records with 24 home runs, 84 RBI, 38 doubles, 99 runs and 77 walks. He also was successful on 13 of 14 stolen base attempts in his first year at the major league level. In 44 games this year, the 25-year-old Hinske is batting .232 with a pair of homers and 21 RBI.
