Cleveland, OH (My Sportsbook) - The Cleveland Indians activated pitcher Ricardo Rodriguez from the 15-day disabled list to start Thursday's game against the Kansas City Royals. Rodriguez was sidelined with a strained right triceps and last pitched on Sunday, June 8 where he worked a season-low 1 2/3 innings against Arizona. The righthander had been complaining about tightness in his arm prior to the start. Rodriguez believes he hurt his arm swinging a bat during batting practice, preparing for Interleague play. He is just 3-7 with a 5.47 earned run average in 13 starts this season. The righthander made one rehabilitation start at Triple-A Buffalo, allowing two hits and one run in 4 1/3 innings.
