=== Lightning re-sign Willis and Keefe === Tampa, FL (My Sportsbook) - The Tampa Bay Lightning re-signed restricted free agent right wings Sheldon Keefe and Shane Willis on Wednesday. Terms of the contracts were not disclosed. "Sheldon Keefe continues to knock on the door of becoming an everyday player with the Lightning," Tampa Bay general manager Jay Feaster said. "During the past three years he has played 125 NHL games for us, and that experience makes him an important piece of the puzzle for our organization." The 22-year-old Keefe appeared in 37 games with the Lightning last year, notching two goals and five assists with 24 penalty minutes. Keefe is a 5- foot-11, 184-pound Ontario native. "Shane Willis is a very talented hockey player with a great deal of offensive upside. He skates well, has good offensive hockey sense and possesses a booming shot that he is not afraid to unleash from anywhere on the ice." Willis, 26, is a 6-foot-1, 192-pound Edmonton native, and was acquired in a trade with the Carolina Hurricanes in March of 2002. He did not play for the Lightning last season, but has 31 goals and 37 assists with 75 penalty minutes in 162 career NHL games.
