Coral Gables, FL (My Sportsbook) - Miami-Florida wide receiver Roscoe Parrish could miss the team's August 28 season-opener against Louisiana Tech after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Monday. Parrish injured his knee on Saturday during practice. Tests revealed no serious damage, but doctors decided to clean out some loose cartilage. The 5-foot-9 sophomore hopes to play in the opener, but coaches say he probably won't return until the following week against Florida. Parrish had 19 receptions for 340 yards last season and returned 27 punts for 392 yards. He had five catches for 70 yards and a touchdown in the Fiesta Bowl loss to Ohio State.
