Sao Paulo, Brazil (My Sportsbook) - Benfica defender Luisao will not take part in Brazil's friendly with Algeria next week because of an injured leg muscle. Luisao was called up to the squad to replace Roma defender Juan, but suffered the leg injury on Tuesday in Benfica's 2-1 win over FC Copenhagen in the third qualifying round of the Champions League. Brazil will meet Algeria in Montpellier, France next Wednesday in what will be the team's first match since winning the Copa America title. Superstars Ronaldinho and Kaka are expected to rejoin the team after sitting out the Copa America competition last month.
