Calgary, AB (My Sportsbook) - Henry Burris completed 28-of-37 passes for 362 yards and three touchdowns, and rushed 11 times for 50 yards and three scores as Calgary kept pace with British Columbia in a 45-45 tie in a Week 8 matchup from McMahon Stadium.

Nikolas Lewis caught eight balls for 120 yards and three TD's for the Stampeders (3-4-1), who moved into a tie with Edmonton for third place in the West Division. Jeremaine Copeland and Joffrey Reynolds also caught touchdown passes.

Buck Pierce threw for 252 yards on 18-of-25 completions with three touchdowns before leaving with a bruise on his AC joint for the Lions (5-2-1), who are winless in their last three games. Jarious Jackson chipped in with 97 yards and one touchdown on 5-of-9 passing to keep pace with the Stamps.

Jason Clermont had seven receptions for 84 yards and a pair of scores, Joe Smith rushed 16 times for 94 yards and two touchdowns, while Paris Jackson and Tony Simmons also caught passes for scores.

After Burris ran in from 10 yards to give Calgary a 38-31 lead with their first possession of the extra session, quarterback Jackson hit a wide-open receiver Jackson for a 47-yard score and a 38-38 game.

Smith plunged in from two yards out and B.C. led 45-38, but Reynolds equalized for Calgary. When kicker Sandro DeAngelis made his extra point, the game ended in a tie.

Burris took it upon himself to get the Stamps on the board, plunging for a one-yard touchdown and a 7-0 lead early in the first.

Pierce then led the Lions on an 11-play, 80-yard march ending on his eight- yard pass to Clermont which evened the game.

DeAngelis nailed a 29-yard field goal six seconds into the second quarter to give Calgary a 10-7 lead, but Pierce hooked up with Clermont once more, this time on a diving 13-yard TD reception with 6:46 to play in the half which put the Lions up 14-10.

Calgary struck back on Copeland's four-yard TD catch on the following drive, and the home team led 17-14.

The Lions responded in kind on their next drive, and Smith's 18-yard TD scamper just inside the left pylon put B.C. ahead 21-17 -- a lead which was solid at the half.

Down by four at the break, the Stampeders scored on their first drive of the third quarter as Burris crawled in from the one to cap a nine-play, 72-yard drive and put Calgary up 24-21.

However, the Lions once again traded touchdowns with their hosts, and B.C. assumed a 28-24 advantage with 4:05 left in the stanza when Simmons hauled in a 30-yard toss from Pierce.

After several failed Calgary attempts to take the lead, Jackson entered for the injured Pierce on a drive with just over three minutes left in regulation, and led a seven-play, 54-yard drive culminating in Paul McCallum's 28-yard field goal which gave the Lions a 31-24 lead.

Not to be outdone, Burris led his charges down field on the ensuing possession and Lewis escaped two defenders to cross the goal line on a seven-yard pass with 40 seconds remaining. After a DeAngelis convert, the game was knotted 31-31.

It was the highest-scoring game in the CFL this season...The Lions had won nine of the last 11 meetings between the teams...Both teams return to action in Week 10, with B.C. hosting Montreal on August 31, and Calgary hosting Edmonton September 3.
