Atlanta, GA (My Sportsbook) - The Atlanta Hawks will have a familiar face on their sideline this season as the team brought back point guard Jacque Vaughn on Thursday. Terms of the deal were not released. Vaughn, who played last season with the Orlando Magic, spent the 2001-02 campaign with the Hawks. During that year, he appeared in all 82 games and posted career highs in points (6.6), rebounds (2.0) and assists (4.3). The 28-year-old Kansas product was a first-round pick of the Utah Jazz in the 1997 draft. He spent four seasons in Utah and played in the 1998 NBA Finals against the Chicago Bulls. Last season for the Magic, Vaughn averaged 5.9 points and 2.9 assists in 80 games. He also started 48 contests.
