South Bend, IN (My Sportsbook) - Notre Dame tight end Gary Godsey will most likely miss the 2003 season with a major knee injury. Godsey will have surgery on his left knee next week. He tore the ACL in his left knee in the Gator Bowl in January and aggravated it during the first week of practices in July. The fifth-year senior, who earned his management information systems degree in May, is planning to stay enrolled in graduate school and seek a medical redshirt. Godsey had 16 catches last season for 155 yards. |
