El Segundo, CA (My Sportsbook) - The Los Angeles Kings obtained goaltender Milan Hnilicka from the Atlanta Thrashers on Monday in exchange for future considerations. Hnilicka appeared in 21 games for Atlanta last season and posted a 4-13-1 record with a 3.56 goals-against average. He also appeared in 15 games for the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League and went 11-2-1 with a 2.59 goals-against average. The 30-year-old Hnilicka broke into the NHL during the 1999-00 season with the New York Rangers. He was then signed as a free agent by the Thrashers on July 28, 2000. In 119 career games, Hnilicka has compiled a 29-66-13 mark with a 3.30 goals- against average. |
