Miami, FL (My Sportsbook) - The Miami Heat signed free agent point guard Bimbo Coles on Tuesday. As per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. Coles spent last season with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics, averaging 4.4 points and 2.1 assists over a combined 35 games. A 35-year-old veteran of 13 NBA seasons, Coles started his career with the Heat. He was selected by Sacramento with the 40th overall pick in 1990 and traded to Miami in a draft-day deal for Rory Sparrow. The 6-foot-2 Coles has posted averages of 8.0 points, 4.0 assists and 2.2 rebounds over 830 career games with Miami, Golden State, Atlanta, Cleveland and Boston.
