El Segundo, CA (My Sportsbook) - Los Angeles defensemen Brad Norton is expected to miss three months after undergoing hand surgery. Norton underwent a corrective procedure to repair two injured tendons in his right hand, which were hurt in the first period of the Kings' 6-1 win over the Phoenix Coyotes on Tuesday. Last season, the 28-year-old Norton played in a career-high 53 games for Los Angeles. He recorded three goals, three assists and 97 penalty minutes. Norton was originally drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in the ninth round of the 1993 NHL Entry Draft and made his NHL debut with the Florida Panthers during the 2001-02 season. In 75 career NHL contests with the Kings and Panthers, he has six points and 142 penalty minutes.
