Portland, OR (My Sportsbook) - The Portland Trail Blazers reinstated guard Damon Stoudamire on Wednesday. Stoudamire served a nearly four-month suspension for his offseason arrest on drug charges. The team also stated that Stoudamire is exempt from paying a $250,000 fine. However, the Arizona standout said he would donate $100,000 to a childhood education program in the Portland area. Stoudamire also said he voluntarily entered a drug treatment program and had been clean for 90 days. Stoudamire pleaded innocent in July to possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after security agents allegedly discovered marijuana in his luggage at the Tucson International Airport. For his career, Stoudamire has averaged 14.6 points, 6.8 assists and 3.7 rebounds per game, while also playing for the Toronto Raptors.
